Hello! I'm Rebecca, a journalist based in Denver, Colo. and Philadelphia, Pa.

I'm currently a staff editor at The Athletic, part of the New York Times Company, where I report and edit national breaking sports news.
Before that, I covered City Hall and transportation for Denverite, a digital local news site part of Colorado Public Radio, and occasionally filed stories for NPR and Marketplace. I helped write our Denver newsletter and started Denverite Classifieds, a digital project aimed at helping people make new friends in Denver and experimenting with new ways to engage audiences.

My reporting work has taken me to newspapers and NPR stations in Colorado, Alaska, Massachusetts, New Jersey and Michigan. I love my job because it requires asking good questions and listening well.
